Cannabinoids (Potency)
Quantitation by HPLC-UV of 11 major cannabinoids: Δ9-THC, Δ8-THC, Δ9-THCA, THCV, CBDV, CBDA, CBGA, CBG, CBD, CBN, CBC.
Terpenes
Quantitation of 41 terpenes by GC-MS/FID. Provides an informational and easy to interpret profile. Terpene potency is not a required test by Health Canada.
Pesticides
Detection and quantitation of regulated pesticides by LC-MS/MS and GC-MS/MS with LOQs meeting or exceeding Health Canada requirements for all 98 regulated pesticides.
Heavy Metals
Quantitation of regulated heavy metals (Arsenic, Cadmium, Lead, Mercury) by ICP-MS according to USP <232> (LOQs for Inhalation Drugs). Additional compounds can be included if needed, eg. Antimony for topicals.
Residual Solvents
Screening for residual solvents by LOD using pharmaceutical grade vacuum ovens according to USP <731>. Quantitation by Headspace GC-MS/FID of up to 29 residual solvents.
Mycotoxins
Detection of aflatoxins by LC-MS/MS according to EP limits for B1, B2, G1 & G2 for herbal drugs (2.8.18). Ochratoxin A can be included if needed.
Dissolution
In vitro characterization of cannabinoid release from product matrix.
Peroxide Value
Detection and quantitation of Peroxide Value in cannabis oil according to USP <401>
Water Content
Loss on Drying (LOD) using pharmaceutical grade vacuum ovens according to USP <731> or Karl Fischer analysis of water content according to USP <921>
Microbial
Total yeast and mold count, total aerobic count, bile tolerant gram-negative bacteria, P. aeruginosa, S. aureus. *Performed by qualified and licensed partner labs.
Stability

Density
Density measurement performed by pycnometer according to USP <841>.
