David Forster

Director & Audit Committee Chair

David is a Corporate Director and a retired partner of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC). He currently is a director and Audit Committee Chair of Molecular Science Corporation and Knowledge First Financial. He is also the Vice-Chair of The Corporation of Massey Hall and Roy Thomson Hall and the Chair of its Massey Hall Revitalization Building Committee and Audit Committee.

At PwC David held a number of senior management roles including GTA Managing Partner, National Leader of the Technology, Infocom, Entertainment & Media and Life Sciences Industries Practice, and Ontario Regional Leader of the Retail and Consumer Industries Practice. David was also a member of the firm’s Canadian Leadership Group for an eleven-year period. David was a tax practice partner throughout his career.  He also created and led PwC’s Directors Program, Director Connect.  David was PwC’s Global Relationship Partner for The Bank of Nova Scotia and was the Senior Relationship Partner for a number of the firm’s most significant accounts.

David was previously Vice-Chair of the Toronto Board of Trade and the Canadian Opera Foundation and a director and Audit Committee Chair of The Institute of Corporate Directors. He was a member of the United Way Major Individual Gifts Cabinet.

David received his B.Math degree from the University of Waterloo in 1979.  He was elected a Fellow of CPA Ontario in 2006. David was a participant in the ICD-Rotman Directors Education Program and received his ICD.D designation in 2011.
